MOON brings the dining cultures of East and West together: All articles are designed to serve for a special function both for Asian und Western cooking. The moon as an emotional symbol in all cultures is the formal theme of the service range. The crescent as relief border on the plates offers a second special stage highly appreciated by chefs.
A program of round and square plates enables the chef to always present the food on the right size and form – from Antipasti to Sushi. In Asian style the cloche covers a bamboo basket, e.g. with dim sums in, in Western fine dining the same cloche hides little delicacies on the plate. All sizes of cups for Western beverages as coffee and tea can also be used as bowls for rice, soup and tea in Asian style. The creamers are in the standard sizes of Western restaurants but also serve e.g. as a sake bottle for the Asian user.
A very fine and white china body emphasizes the elegance of the swinging bowls and pots.
